Easter 2016

We returned home yesterday after a delightful Easter weekend spent with family. There were so many happy memories and an ever deepening love for my Savior made.

We celebrated with John’s family on Saturday. We had some delicious food followed by egg dyeing {which {E} slept through}, a spiritual message from Dad H, and an Easter egg hunt.

We celebrated with my family on Sunday. We went to church in the morning and then came home feeling very grateful for the love of our Savior. We waited for the cousins to arrive and then had another easter egg hunt, a tasty Easter dinner and dessert, and lots of laughing and visiting with each other.

We snuck away for a little bit in the afternoon and {with Aunt Allie’s help} took some sweet photos of {E} and our whole family.

I found {E}’s dress at TJ Maxx and I LOVE it. She did too. When she would sit down it would completely surround her, like a true princess dress.

I love Easter {maybe more than Christmas}. The spring air and excitement for new life makes my spirit incredibly happy. I hope every Easter is as peaceful and fulfilling as this one was.
