Final Summer Days

The days are getting shorter and much chillier here in our little town.  We are trying to soak up all of the summer fun we can before it’s time to lovingly embrace autumn.

The other day John got out {E}’s kiddie pool.  She was so excited, almost as much as her Daddy.  They didn’t think to put on her swimsuit or a swim diaper.  So by the time the sun was going down we had a shivering, smiling, and big bummed baby!

Watching the two greatest loves of my life making memories together is beautiful.  I’m sad when they’re over but know that there will be many more moments in the future to look forward to.

What are you doing to enjoy your last days of summer?

I’m teaching our Family Home Evening lesson tonight on Virtue.  I have really enjoyed studying this talk: “Let Virtue Garnish Your Thoughts”.
